Catching Up {January: Weeks 1-5}

I’ve been doing Project Life digitally since January of this year but recently I had a revelation and came across the beautiful Memory Pockets Monthly from The Lilypad. Therefore, this crazy OCD girl is redoing all of her spreads! Actually, I’m creating a second set of layouts! I’m also a subscriber to Just Jaimee’s Storyteller collection. My favorite is the Ready-to-Go templates that she and Pride and Joy Design’s create! Because of the simplicity of this layout, I use these as a fun way of documenting life (check out my Flickr album to view these).

Since I am starting the blog 4 months into the year, I figured I would do one month’s posts at a time. So this will be all of January’s layouts. I’m trying to only use on double spread a week with maybe an insert or two for special events.

A New Start!

Hello everyone! My name is Kelly and I cannot wait to start sharing about my journey with you all! This blog will cover all sorts of information! There are a few things I should probably introduce to you before I start. I am unmarried but in a very serious relationship with the amazing man that has stood by my side now for almost one year. April 13th of last year, Michael waltzed his way into my life (after knowing him for 2 years). He is my rock…definitely keeping me sane when I need to calm down. Michael is definitely apart of this next adventure of mine and I can’t wait to keep all of you included in on the fun! The other part is the fact that I’m a student by day, going to school to be a Microbiologist; therefore stress is a very avid part of my life.

So now on to the meaty part…

I’ve promised myself that, starting tomorrow, April 6th, 2015, I am changing the way I live my life. There are a lot of things changing in the next few months, graduating from college, joining the real world, applying for grad school, but I want to start that chapter of my life on the right foot. With that being said, there’s a few things going to happen and they will all be documented here.

  • I will be using this blog to write and share about each of the Project Life layouts I create. I began PL about a year ago but I’ve always been an avid scrapbooker. I mean…I’ve been a scrapbooker since I can remember. I’m a very crafty girl, doing all sorts of little projects. It’s my way of releasing all the stress from everyday life. I started with Digital Project Life and scrapbooking the beginning of this year. Documenting the everyday life and other fun stuff that has come up.
  • This is also where I will be sharing about my personal health and fitness journey. I start my journey with my second challenge in the Beachbody community tomorrow. I did the 21-Day Fix back in October of 2014 but due to some health reasons, I had to stop and wait until the right time to start back up. Well now is that time. Michael and I are starting the 21-Day Fix tomorrow to hopefully get our lives back on track both nutritionally and with daily exercise. We’ve both been unhappy with the way we look and we’re finally going to do something about it!
  • Lastly, I’ll be sharing about some of the fun crafts I’m working on. As I continue to decorate my apartment, I will be including some fun posts about the little touches I do to make a space that isn’t yours, as personalized as possible.

With all this being said, I hope you are just as excited as I am to start on this fun adventure with me! It’s going to be a fun ride!

Happy Easter ❤

Blessings to you all,
